We celebrated my Dad's sixtieth birthday with a long weekend at Lake Tyers, where he used to holiday as a child. The area was super nautical - check out the octopus on the roof of Griffith's Sea Shell Museum and the trawlers at Lakes Entrance.

Maybe this post marks a departure from the usual Sanpo stuff, but I could not resist bringing the cutest blog ever to your attention: Ken and Deb in Antarctica. Does my friend Isabelle have the coolest parents in the world or what? So many penguin and boat shots, swoon! I am filled with admiration for the Raphael's spirt of adventure!

I'm one of those people who finds tooth brushing in the shower a bit weird, but I would change my ways in a Tokyo second for Crawfish-chan over here.
